Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. His stage name is a mixture of the name of a favourite uncle and the stage name of Kid Cudi (whose real names are Scott Mescudi and Scott Mescudi) This is his first major-label contract with Epic Records. Scott also signed a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He also signed a record agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) was released in the year 2013 by self-release. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash single "Antidote". The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and included his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It topped the Billboard 200. Following the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to release three singles at the top spot in less than one year in 2020.
