Abigale Le Miller bio

Abigale Lee Miller(born on 21st September 1965) is an American dance instructor, choreographer, and reality television personality. Abby Lee Dance Company was established by her. It was a part of eight seasons of the show Dance Moms. Miller pleaded guilty in June 2016 to the charge of felony bankruptcy fraud. Miller was sentenced on the 27th of June, 2016 to one year, one day in federal prison. Miller was released on the 27th of March 28th, 2018. In April of 2018, she was diagnosed with lymphoma which is a kind of cancer that makes it impossible for her to walk. She now uses a wheelchair to move around. Miller was raised around dance in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, located in a Pittsburgh suburb. She attended classes under her mother's direction at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. In 1980, at age 14 years old, Miller was assigned the task for choreographing and coaching one of the teams that her mother was directing for dance competition. Miller was eventually able to take over the studio in 1995 , and changed its name to it Reign Dance Productions. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America, and was a part of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter 10 (February 1986). However, DMA terminated her membership in February 2012 due to Miller's reality TV show Dance Moms was a "complete misrepresentation of our teachers and students" and was damaging to the profession.
